A Guide to Playing Let It Ride Poker

Poker has always been one of the most popular casino games. There is no community pot because you only play against the dealer. This game has been around for more than a decade and since its introduction to online gambling, it has become one of the most popular poker games.

An Introduction to Let It Ride Poker

The objective of the player of Let It Ride poker is to end up with a high-value hand consisting of the three cards dealt to the player and the two cards given to the dealer. A straight flush or a royal flush can win you the game.

The game basically uses a single deck with 52 cards. The whole game consists of three betting rounds. To start off the game, you need to place three wagers of the same amounts. The dealer would then give you three cards facing down and two cards will be dealt to him. The latter cards will be dealt facing upwards. The dealer would then take back the first common card. If you are the player, you will then decide whether or not you will fold or you will raise your bet and push through the game based on the cards you have and those revealed to you. If you opt for the former, this is what you call "letting it ride". You should definitely consider letting the game ride if you receive pair of ten cards or three cards.

If you continue with the game, you will be given another card and you will create a hand out of the cards you have. You can choose to change your card and get the revealed second common card or you can choose not to change your card. If you hold cards that will allow you to present a straight flush or a royal flush, you should definitely continue with the game.

At this point, you need to decide whether or not you are going to let it ride or you will choose to fold. If you again opt for the former, your hand will be compared to the dealer's hand. If your hand is higher than the dealer's, you win the game; otherwise you lose your wagers and the game.

Let It Ride is a simple poker game. It is as fun as the other versions of poker. Perhaps, to some it is even more enjoyable than the other poker versions.
